Tie Dye Tank + Trans for Fall

Tie Dye Tank (Ivy&Leo, similar here & here) // Jeans // Tory Burch bag // Lariat Necklace // Stone Bauble Necklace (similar here) // Kendra Scott Ring // Mules (similar here & here )
I'm dying to wear some sweaters and jeans with booties, but the reality is, it's still 90 degrees outside. The sweater, jean, bootie thing is super hard to photograph when I'm sweating the entire time! It's supposedly cooling down next week, so perhaps there is an opportunity there! The seventies trend has been in full swing for a while now. I contribute this tie dye look to it; it has that sort of wild, youthful vibe while modernizing it a bit with the white jeans. My top is from the southern boutique Ivy&Leo, be sure to check out all of their new fall pieces that continually lands on their website. (Don't forget to enter "Brittany10" to save 10% at checkout).  See some of my other Ivy&Leo purchases here, here, & here.
I know there is that rule that "you can't wear white after Labor Day". I am not a fan of that rule in particular, nor most  wardrobe, styling rules. I think white jeans are totally appropriate for spring, summer, fall. Would I wear my white jeans with a vibrant neon colored tank top in October? No, I think it's just how you style it. The season is changing so as long as you are wearing more neutral, darker colors with your white jeans and most likely some booties or flats instead of sandals, I think you'll look cute and seasonally appropriate!
Anything new with you today? I would love to hear!

Casual City Exploring Outfit

Pat recently moved to Winston Salem (NC) about three months ago. It’s located 40 minutes west of Greensboro where he previously lived, and is about 1 ½ hours north of Charlotte. Winston is an older city, known for its tobacco factories that now have been converted to swanky loft style apartments and offices. It has a cool art scene with lots of cute little shops and trendy restaurants. It is not, by an means, near size to Charlotte, however, it’s a cool little city. Pat and I love driving through the different neighborhoods with sprawling old southern homes. It’s magical!
Pat and I decided to head out and explore a bit! This is by far, one of the most, casual outfits I have worn on my blog, but I like to switch it up a bit! Strappy details are a big trend for this Fall and I believe we will continue to see more and more of this as we proceed through winter and into spring.
Pat and I grew up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh. We love our sports (Go Steelers!!) so why the NY hat you may ask? I loveeeee NYC. I studied abroad in Florence Italy my fall semester of my junior year. While I was there, we went and stayed in Paris for a week. While I was on top of the Eiffel Tower, I began talking to this young woman. We connected, turns out she was Assistant Designer of Textiles to Oscar de la Renta. Six months later, I moved to NYC for the summer to do an internship in the PR department for Oscar. It was amazing! So no, not a huge baseball fan, just a lover for that city that never sleeps!
Happy Monday!

Bohemian Maxi Dress & Felt Hat

Maxi Dress // Necklace // Felt Hat // Ring // Lips: "Speed Dial
Good morning beauties!
I am excited to share this look with you today because I am absolutely over the moon with this maxi dress. This dress fits so comfortably and it's unlike anything else I have in my closet. I like that it cinches in the waist and then you can pull it tighter by tying it in the back of the dress or on the side like it's shown on the retailer's website. I mostly wear a size medium, this dress is a medium; I find that most items from MakeMeChic run true to size. I am someone that doesn't like anything too tight in my hips and thighs, if the silhouette naturally fits tighter in those areas (like a shift dress) then I do size up. The prices with this overseas retailer is really appealing. This dress is only $30 and they have  a ton of trendy, wear now items that mostly range from $15-$40. They offer free shipping over $29 and should you return, it's only $5 for the return label. I think it's so worth it should you have to pay $5 because I love what they offer- it is different from everyone else!
How amazing is this necklace from TheDaintyBeauty shop? She has so many cool pieces that really stands out and make your outfits special! I get compliments every single time I wear my necklace! See the below widget for similar style necklaces and dresses and to shop my outfit!
Have a fabulous day!

Off Shoulder Top + Beach Town

Off Shoulder Top (similar here, here & here)  // White Jeans // Jack Rogers Sandals // Michael Kors Selma Handbag // Tassel Bracelets (similar) // Tassel Earrings (similar)  // Ring // Turquoise Ring //
Pat and I took time off from laying on the beach to explore the little shops that line the boardwalk at Carolina Beach. It seems like a quiet little beach time at first, but once you get near the center you will find this boardwalk with several rows of different shops, restaurants and cafe. Plus, during the high season of summer months, the fair moves in and enters the ferris wheel, a roller coaster, and a bunch of games and other rides! It's quite cute and exciting if you ask me! As Fall is  basically here, be on the look out for the cutest summery tops to go on sale-a top like mine above will be on trend again next season! Off shoulders and tassels aren't going anywhere fast!
Enjoy the day,
xx, Brittany Ann

I have partnered with Wellesley Row, a fabulous destination for preppy fine jewelry.
