Activewear Inspiration for New Year’s Resolution

Reversible Hoodie /// Leggings (Absolute favorite pair in the world) // Beanie // Shoes

Hello! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! Ours was wonderful and it as so nice to be home!

With New Year’s a few days away, Pat and I have been thinking about our “resolutions”. Did you know that roughly only 8% of the people who make resolutions stick to them and accomplish what they had set out to do? That seems low, however, I can’t even remember what some of mine were last year so I fall in that fail category! Pat and I talked about it and we are going to do something different this year. I want to create a “Goal’s Board” & “Dream Board”. We will write tactical, descriptive goals that we can accomplish in a set amount of time & on our dream board, it will be more vague goals that we have for ourselves in the next 2-3 years. We did this earlier in the year and are proud that we have accomplished a lot of our short term tactical goals! I think we fail when we are super vague and don’t set a time factor to our resolutions! Make a change and put your own light at the end of the tunnel so are you motivate to stick with it and tackle your resolution!
Activewear is incredibly important to anyone’s wardrobe! If I feel good in what I am wearing, I am always more motivated! I often say to Pat, no I don’t need to spend money on that, however, Pat reminds me that I dress for the gym every single day. I can repeat more gym gear than work clothes or even lounging clothes. It’s important to invest in some key pieces. I have linked below some great pieces that I believe you would wear over and over again. One of these pieces being these Lululemon leggings. They are by far the best investment piece of clothing I have bought in a long time. I wear these nonstop. They literally feel like you have nothing on, they stretch with you, they are perfect for long sweaters and boots, they are PERFECT, everyday use. Pat bought me a pair for Christmas last year and they have really lasted over this past year. They are just now starting to look a bit worn, but again, I wear these almost everyday from Fall-Spring, so I think they are amazing! I strongly encourage you to make these your one splurge piece to start the New Year in!
xx, Brittany Ann
