I love mixing up a classic shirt. White linen, crisp shirts will forever be a staple in my closet. They are seasonally appropriate for almost all months of the year and you can constantly reinvent how you wear them over and over again. I love this Asos loose black tie in which you can wear with any top and simply tie a bow to hang around your neck. Super chic!
I have lots going on this week which means it's a super busy week for me, but I like staying busy so it's all good!

Off Shoulder Valentine's Day Look

Happy Monday! I spent the weekend in Fort Lauderdale with a friend and for the first two days it was super warm and sunny! Yesterday, we were hoping to be able to spend time on the beach and explore the town, however, unfortunately, it poured all day long. There wasn't a single break in the weather so we did some shopping at Aventura Mall! What did you do this weekend? I would love to know, leave a comment below!
I love this off shoulder sweater and it is on major sale for $36! I really like this sweater because it folds down over the chest and it stays down. There is nothing worst than having to constantly adjust something you have on or fidget with something over and over again. Trust me on this one, this is not the case with this sweater. It stays down and is comfortable! I think this look would make for a great Valentine's Day date outfit, the pink clutch adds a little pop of color as well as the tassel earrings!

What to Wear for Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is about two weeks away. I know this night is always so special for Pat and I because we really make it a point to really unplug and just enjoy a night out together. Last year, Pat had surprised me and made reservations for a romantic dinner at the Proximity Hotel in Greensboro. The food was so delicious, the staff was super friendly and overall it was just completely romantic. The entire space was divided in different sections with white linen curtains, dozens of candles and vases of flowers at each table.  I just remember feeling so pretty in my dress and heels and it was just an absolutely wonderful night! I always feel more relaxed the day of a holiday or celebration when I already know a head of time what I will be wearing. There is no shame in having a game plan! Start thinking about what you'll be wearing that night so that when Tuesday, February 14th rolls around, you'll be able to come home from work, change clothes and head on out. Or if you'll celebrate on the Saturday before or after, you can sleep in and relax all day then simply change and head out! Either way works! I've rounded up some of my favorite dresses for this year's Valentine's Day! You'll see that ruffle details and cold shoulders are still a huge trend and you simply can't go wrong with a bold floral printed dress either!

Hello humpday! Almost to the weekend, hang in there! 
I'm sharing a very wintery cozy look on the blog today. It's still feels like Winter in a lot of places right now but I can not wait for Spring! It's been pretty rainy and chilly in Winston lately, however, today it'll reach almost 70. You never know around here! I am so bummed this Sun & Shadow cozy maxi cardigan from Nordstrom is sold out. It is so warm and soft, I think it looks great dressed up as I wore above, but also with some leggings and a tee to be comfortable in your home. I've been wearing a lot of hats lately, whether its my new favorite leopard baseball hat (see it here) or a floppy wool hat like I am wearing in the above, I have been reaching for something to throw on! It's the quickest fix to not doing your hair....or to look chic! Either one :-)

 Hello beauties!
Happy Monday! The magical, romantic holiday is quickly approaching and I've been thinking about what it is that I will be wearing with that sweet fiancĂ© of mine this year!  With us being in a new city together, I'm thinking we will try a new restaurant and have a lovely candlelit dinner, but who knows!    I love this cold shoulder pleated dress from the boutique FashionWorthy. This boutique has trend right, versastile pieces that you can dress from day to night in. Their clothing fit true to size, sometimes I find that most boutiques the clothing fit smaller and are shorter in length, however, this is not the case with FashionWorthy. This dress is a size medium, which is what I typically wear, however, in most cases with boutiques, I would have sized up. This boutique has several other great options or your Valentine's Day night out; I love this choker dress here, this lace bodice dress here and this pink deep v-neck dress with some bling here! Whatever you end up wearing, wear something you feel confident and comfortable in!

My Go to Lipsticks + Other Beauty Favorites

Matte lipstick by Mac is my favorite. I wear Candy Yum Yum on constant repeat! 
Chanel Rogue Allure Velvet is so creamy and buttery.  Color is #50 La Romanesque.
  Clinque 'Pop Lip' Color & Primer in "Cherry Pop" & "Peony Pop". I want to buy every color, they are so glossy and saturated!
I just tried these Mac Patentpolish lip pencils. They were part of the Nutcracker Holiday gift set but you can find them here too.  I really like them, they are not as drastic, they feel more like a hydrating colored chapstick. I highly recommend for everyday all day use!
 Smashbox's 'Be Legendary' Matte Lipstick became a new favorite of mine after Christmas. I received a set of seven different colors + the insta-matte lip transformer (makes the lipstick go from creamy to matte).  Nordstrom has three different trio sets that you can try different colors out here.
Below are some of my current favorites. As I have gotten older, I really appreciate beauty products that make me feel really good, light, airy and beautiful! The below are products that come with my highest recommendation,  products that I just simply love!
