Happy Friday everyone!
I thought I would do something a little bit different for today's post. This instagram photo (follow me @brittanyanncourtney) is my most liked photo of all time. This is big for me :-)!!! I had a lot of you comment that you love the color combo and that you love turqouise as well so I thought I would share two other bold colors, yellow & pink, that you can mix with your turquoise jewelry! Turquoise jewelry will always be a great investment. It is always the biggest color for jewelry in Spring and Summer and it always makes the outfit feel new and fun. I have never been shy to wear bright colors; there is just something about them that makes me feel so alive and happy! I  will say that over the past year, I have been into wearing more and more neutrals, I believe this is because that's super trendy right now, however, there are times when punches of color are the answer!
You will notice that I kept the silhouettes and designs of the tops and dresses simple. They are all solid without a lot of details. My dress here is a dobby spot fabrication, however, from a far it reads as a solid color. I think this is really important when wearing something so bold. I keep my turquoise jewelry to only one or two pieces at a time. Follow Coco Chanel's rule: "Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take off one accessory". That quote will keep you in line!
Does anyone have big plans for the weekend? I would love to hear, drop me a comment in the below!
I have a lot of errands and things to get done....I am traveling again next week...I am BEYOND excited for where we are headed!

Cabo San Lucas Marina One Shoulder Top

Lasercut One Shoulder Top // Ripped Jeans // Coach Wedges (similar here) // Louis Vuitton Bag  // Stella & Dot Earrings // Mac Lipstick "Bombshell" // Bracelet (similar here) // Ring (similar here)
Happy Wednesday!
I have never been on a cruise before so the entire experience was completely new to me! When we got to Cabo, the cruise ship docks right outside of Cabo's port, floating right in the ocean. You have to take a tender (small boat) to transport you from the ship to Cabo's port. The little boat ride takes about ten minutes and I thought that alone was fun because you're riding over waves, taking in the view of Lover's Beach, the Arc, the actual city of Cabo and how it is expanding up the coast. I have always loved being near water, (note: I am a terrible swimmer so view of water for me is what I like!) there is just something about the wind in my hair, with a little spray from the water that makes me smile! Anyway, our first tender ride in and I could immediately see Cabo's beautiful marina. It's really cool the city has been built along the edges of the water.
I wore this cute one shoulder top with my favorite pair of jeans the one day we were exploring around. One shoulders have recently become a big trend again, any variation of shoulder details as a matter of fact,  has been in the spotlight for the last several seasons. I think it is super girly and I love the laser cut detail with the red contrasting thread. It would be cute to be worn again with jean shorts and sandals, perhaps at a brewery or out for lunch!
I recently bought this Louis Vuitton bag! I am super excited as it is my first Louis! There are several places where you can buy preowned, certified authentic designer handbags. The Real Real (here) is an example of one that I had a friend recommend to me when I began my search! If you're going to invest the money, you have to make sure you are getting what you are paying for! Anyway, I LOVE this bag and I know I will be wearing it over and over again! It is timeless!
Well, this wraps up my time in Cabo, if you ever get the chance to go, do it! It was stunningly beautiful, I would love to go back!
Thank you for stopping by!

Colorful in Cabo

Tiered Cold Shoulder Dress // Turqoise Earrings (also in coral)  // Rebecca Minkoff Bag (similar here) // Turquoise Ring (similar here)

Hi everyone!
I hope this Tuesday brings you some sunshine. We have been getting pounded by rain these last couple of days and there is quite a chill in the air. It's certainly a major mixup from the beautiful weather we had at sea last week! While exploring around in town, we stumbled upon this colorful turquoise wall. What blogger doesn't love a colorful wall? I knew we had to take photos here.  I love turquoise and orange color combination, you can tell as I was already wearing these amazing statement earrings from Baublebar with my cold shoulder, tiered dress from my favorite retailer, ASOS. For as big as these earrings are, they are lightweight and do not bother my ears after wearing them all day! They also come in a solid coral color here. The instagram of this outfit is currently  my most liked photo of all time (very exciting-thank you!). A lot of you are commenting you like this color combination together so I put a bunch of different tangerine dress options and turquoise jewelry below in the widgets to make it easier for all of you to find something similar! My earrings and dress are linked below and above as well if you want the exact same! I wish we could have stayed longer in Cabo to explore some more. I love how there are so many fun walls and places in Cabo! I really want to go back again, some day!
Thank you for stopping by!

Festive Top in Cabo San Lucas

Tiered Ruffle Festive Top // Ripped Jeans (similar here & here) // Camisole (I wear this all the time!) // Coach Wedges (similar here & here) // Pom Crossbody // Pom Earrings // Initial Bangle
Hello my friends!
I feel like it has been a while! Last week I was on a cruise with my friend Caitlin! We sailed from LA to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico! This was my first time on a cruise, and let me tell you, it was quite the experience! The ship is massive and has so many different things to do: Casino, spa, gym, restaurants,         boutiques, bars, dance club, theatre, etc. Every hour there was some kind of activity going on somewhere on the ship. Two of our favorite events were attending a comedy show and watching a live musical in one of the grand  theaters! It was a Princess cruise, our ship named "The Ruby" (how appropriate for me?!) . The one big challenge of the trip was not having great internet service. We paid for multiple satellite plans (available on the ship) and although they were really expensive, the connection was terrible and almost impossible to post. I wanted to share so much with all of you, gave me anxiety that I couldn't!

My favorite part of the cruise was when we docked in Cabo. I have been to Riviera Maya, Mexico before, on the eastern coast of Mexico, but I was really excited to see Cabo and experience it! Well, I LOVED it. One of my favorite places was The Office. Caitlin had been to Cabo a couple of times before our trip and she raved about their food and how cute the restaurant was. I was so excited to go and explore, I was certainly not disappointed! Today's photos were taken right out side of the restaurant. Isn't the turquoise spiral staircase really cool? The waiters kept going up and down clearing plates, setting tables, etc. When you go through the restaurant it opens up to the outside and you can step down one level to eat at a table right on the sand. Enjoy some guacamole and some margaritas with a beautiful beach view!

My super festive top would be the cutest thing to wear for Cinco de Maya or for when you just feel festive! I got so many compliments on this top, even when were out exploring Cabo! I wore my loved and worn cream camisole underneath it for more coverage since we were out and about all day!
I can't wait to share more Cabo photos with you this week!

Hi everyone!
I feel terrible I haven't been able to get things posted on usual time and haven't been able to get my actual blog post up. We have been on the Princess Ruby (Ruby-how appropriate for me!) cruise for the last several days and the internet is super spotty. You have to buy an internet satellite plan (super expensive) and then it still doesn't work, or it is super slow. I'm grateful to be on this trip, Caitlin and I are having so much fun, but it makes working incredibly difficult! It's very frustrating!
I thought I would do a big instagram round up with all outfit details for you! I had to share a few of my favorite photos from my beach trip at the end. How cute does Ruby look with her Easterbunny ears on? Do you ever have an overwhelming sensation of love for your little one that you want to  squeeze them so hard but then you're terrified to do so? Thats me all the time. Ruby has been the greatest blessing in mind and Pat's lives. She brings us such joy and happiness. I feel so lucky to have such a good puppy!
Short and sweet today!
Thank you for stopping by!
