Mauve Ruffle Off Shoulder Top + Leopard Clutch

Mauve Off Shoulder Top // White Jeans // Similar Leopard Clutch // Steve Madden Wedges (Also comes in three other colors) // Stackable Rings (Buy 3 for $150 or 1 for $99- Save 15% with discount code BrittanyCourtney) // Earrings

It felt good to be home for a few days before my friend's baby shower on Saturday. I really enjoyed the time I had to hang out with my mom and the rest of my family. Pittsburgh pleasantly surprised me- we had  beautiful cool weather with sunshine every day I was home. Now if you know me, you know my favorite thing of moving south is the fact that the sun is out almost every single day. Pittsburgh is known for being overcast and doesn't have too many days of sunshine! I could never move home because of this reason, but while I was visiting, it was beautiful!
I'm still all about off shoulder tops and while I know most of you can't wear this look to work, I have found a few blouses with more coverage that would work.  This top comes in black, lilac gray and a morel taupe and  this top is the cutest little henley blouse and comes in four colors. Substitute my white jeans with simple black or navy dress pants and you would be good to go! I'm really loving lighter, more neutral toned colors right now but love how my clutch pops against the rest of the outfit! I found a similar leopard clutch here for only $45!
Have a good one!

Chambray Shirt Dress: Perfect for Transitioning for Fall

Chambray Dress (similar here, here & here) // Louis Vuitton bought through here // Similar Espadrilles // Leather Watch
Happy Friday!
Hope all of your week's went well! I am home in Pittsburgh- it's one of those weekends where it seems there is something major happening everyday that I am home, and of course, five things on Saturday! But at least it all lined up in one weekend so the 7 hour drive home isn't too bad if it's once versus multiple times over a couple of months!
I love this little tie dye shirt dress. Shirt dresses are always a go to of mine, and they are really versatile moving into the next season! I am head over heels in love with this blue checked one from Nordstrom, it would be perfect for work and drinks afterwards! Mine is from a friend's boutique, you can shop all of her things here! The weather in North Carolina is still extremely hot. It's totally unreasonable to even think about throwing a sweater on. I'm ready and excited for Fall; bring on the cardigans, pumpkin cookies (my best friend gave me her AMAZING recipe, I'll have to share), booties and etc. However though, when you live in the South and it's still in the nineties everyday you have to think about the weight of what you are putting on. I tend to transition my wardrobe by adding longer sleeves in, possibly jeans and a light weight blouse before adding in the sweaters. The goal is to look more Fall like but not sweat to death! Hahah! Now being home in Pittsburgh, I think it' s really cold. It got down into the fifties last night after the rainstorm. I didn't know what to do...lol!
Enjoy your weekend! I feel lucky to spend mine with my family!

Blush Off Shoulder Top + LuckyCo Clutch in Charleston

It's Wednesday, we are half way through the week! I am sharing one of my favorite tops, this one is actually sold out but there are a ton of similar ones linked above and in the below widget! Blush has been named on of the biggest colors for the season and is building momentum as we move towards Fall. Ironic I bring up Fall because when I was in Charleston over this past weekend, there   was not a single thing that suggested Fall would be on its way. Every day brought on scorching temperatures, with the humidity making you want to shower every hour! I know I sound dramatic, but if you have been to Charleston in the summer time, then I know you know what I am talking about! These photos are taken outside of the Charleston Library Society building, farther down on King Street (the main street in Charleston with all of the shops and restaurants). How pretty are these marble stairs? I want these in my future home, pretty please:-)

I have been so excited to share this clutch with all of you! It's from the company Lucky Jack and my favorite thing about this company is their mission of giving to and supporting animal shelters is at the forefront of all of their designs and business decisions. Each design has some element of a dog collar in it to remind the customer her purchase supported a great cause! This clutch is named "The Ruby Wristlet", how appropriate considering my fur baby is Ruby! This particular bag comes in three other colors: brown,  navy-blue and tan. They have a cross body design that can be pre-ordered here, I am certainly going to keep my eye on that!

I am traveling again today, headed home to Pittsburgh to spend time with my family and see an old friend for her baby shower! Mom and I have lots of wedding things to do so I am looking forward to that!
Thanks for stopping by,
xx, Brittany Ann

Off Shoulder Top at a Pink Charleston Home

Hello everyone! I just spent this past weekend in beautiful Charleston. If you have never been, Charleston dates back to 1670 and is known for it's elaborate architecture, colorful homes, cobblestone streets and horse drawn carriages all situated along an inlet of the Atlantic Ocean. Overtime is has certainly become a booming area for tourism, however, if you walk off of the beaten bath a little bit, you'll discover it's original charm and can fantasize what it would be like to live in one of the big beautiful homes, overlooking the water on the Battery! If you remember, Pat, Ruby and I were in Charleston in the beginning of June to shoot our engagement photos. See that post here.
My best friend and I went drove down for a long weekend. We have a friend that recently moved and what better way to spend a long weekend than visiting her and seeing some more of Charleston?! One of my favorite things to do is just walk and walk and walk. I love to park the car somewhere and start exploring, however,  August is h.o.t! Scorching temperatures meant I couldn't do as much walking around randomly, we had a purpose each time we got out of the car! Haha! We got back yesterday because although we had this weekend planned for quite some time, it's ironic the eclipse has a 100% view in Charleston, drawing an estimated crowd of 1.6 million people! On top of that, it was move in weekend for the College of Charleston which meant more people and more cars! Despite the amount of added people there, we enjoyed the weekend catching up and exploring different parts of town!
This off shoulder top is super pretty! I love the white meshing the embroidered flowers are sewn to. It makes for a light and airy top, and is currently on sale for $40! I paired it with white jeans here, however, in a few weeks when we move closer to Fall, I would rewear it again with black jeans to create a more transitional look!
Thanks for stopping by,
xx, Brittany Ann
