It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas…you know the song, right?! Pat and I grew up in the same town and our families went to the same church. I feel really lucky because it is an incredible feeling knowing we share the same foundation and have the same focus on our beliefs and how we will raise a family one day. I am a strong believer in God’s plans. My favorite bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.  There are so many things that come into our lives, or are taken out of our lives, things that suddenly blindside ourselves with fear, sadness, disappointment. It is this bible verse, and this promise from God that really provides steadiness in my life and all that I do. I’m forever grateful that Pat believes in this with me, together we are freed of worrisome, and together we can more forward in loving God and following his path. Christmas Eve both of our families will attend church and then my family is having his family over for game night! One of my sisters recently had knee surgery so we are keeping it low key by hosting Christmas Eve at my parent’s house, and then hosting Christmas Day as well with my mom’s side of the family!

I know I keep saying this, but it is just the most wonderful time of the year! I’m so grateful you have stopped by. I’m excited to have you here on this journey with me!
