Neon Pom Pom Beanie + Winter Outfit

Sweater // Beanie // Colorful Scarf // Pom Pom //Jeans (sold out, similar here)// Tory Burch Bag (similar here)  // Booties

Today’s look is one that is relatively simple- a basic cream v-neck sweater & my favorite jeans from BlankNYC. I have talked about these jeans before, but I am a huge fan of BlankNYC jeans because they stay up on the hips and do not stretch drastically throughout the day. You can buy this brand from their website, nordstrom, even Amazon. These jeans hug my curves, and I always feel super comfortable when I wear them! You can’t knock a girl down when she’s in her favorite jeans, moving mountains over here 🙂 This tassel fair aisle scarf has splashes of bright colors that pop. I then paired this beanie (only $4!) with it. It doesn’t come with a pom pom on it. I did a little DIY & bought a pom pom and sewed it on myself! I took it from being cute to loving it so much I’ll wear it all of the time!  I often have friends tell me they like my bright colors in the winter, but they didn’t know that they could wear such or they thought it would be too bright. I always tell them not to be afraid to add some color! It’s all what you feel comfortable in, but challenge yourself! ! Where people sometimes go “wrong” with wearing bright colors in the winter months are when they try to wear a summer piece in the winter. It’s winter, you need to be warm. I wouldn’t suggest wearing your favorite chiffon, shear kimono in the middle of winter, however, if you have a neon pink tank top and you pair it with a heavy cream cardigan and style it with boots and a scarf, well then you’re dressing appropriately for the winter by having layers on. This is when you’ll be successful!

I am all for looking cute but nothing comes before being warm and comfortable in these brisk months!

Happy Wednesday!

xx, Brittany Ann
