Chambray Shirt Dress: Perfect for Transitioning for Fall

Chambray Dress (similar here, here & here) // Louis Vuitton bought through here // Similar Espadrilles // Leather Watch

Happy Friday!

Hope all of your week’s went well! I am home in Pittsburgh- it’s one of those weekends where it seems there is something major happening everyday that I am home, and of course, five things on Saturday! But at least it all lined up in one weekend so the 7 hour drive home isn’t too bad if it’s once versus multiple times over a couple of months!

I love this little tie dye shirt dress. Shirt dresses are always a go to of mine, and they are really versatile moving into the next season! I am head over heels in love with this blue checked one from Nordstrom, it would be perfect for work and drinks afterwards! Mine is from a friend’s boutique, you can shop all of her things here! The weather in North Carolina is still extremely hot. It’s totally unreasonable to even think about throwing a sweater on. I’m ready and excited for Fall; bring on the cardigans, pumpkin cookies (my best friend gave me her AMAZING recipe, I’ll have to share), booties and etc. However though, when you live in the South and it’s still in the nineties everyday you have to think about the weight of what you are putting on. I tend to transition my wardrobe by adding longer sleeves in, possibly jeans and a light weight blouse before adding in the sweaters. The goal is to look more Fall like but not sweat to death! Hahah! Now being home in Pittsburgh, I think it’ s really cold. It got down into the fifties last night after the rainstorm. I didn’t know what to do…lol!

Enjoy your weekend! I feel lucky to spend mine with my family!

xx, Brittany Ann
