Whew, I feel like I haven’t been home in over a week and when I sit here and think about it, I actually haven’t been home. We went to NYC last week and then I was home for four hours before my friend Caitlin and I left for Vermont. Vermont was beautiful and I can’t wait to share some photos from that trip soon. We got home last night at midnight and now Pat and I leaving for a wedding in a few hours. I can’t think straight because I have been in constant motion! Do you have any fun weekend plans?
Prio to NY, Pat and I met his family in Savannah, GA. It was my first time there and while I loved the historic charm the city has to offer, it was incredibly hot. Extreme humidity and heat. I couldn’t get my hair to look half decent no matter how hard I tried! I kept saying how do these girls do their hair down here! Hahah! Pat and I took these photos on Jones Street, it’s this beautiful cobblestone street lined with big historic homes. These homes have distressed brick, ivy climbing their stairs and walls, it’s gorgeous. This street was actually voted one of the most beautiful streets in North America! A man walking by had told us this as we were taking these photos-so sweet!
I am in love with this skirt because I think it is so versatile. Blush and mauve have been strong colors for Fall and while I am wearing it here with this classic stripe shirt (perfect work top and it comes in two other plaid colors here) I know I will be wearing it again with a chunky sweater and some over the knee boots!
I’m off to Asheville, enjoy your weekends!
xx, Brittany Ann
