Happy Friday girls!
Sharing a Valentine’s Day-ish work out look! These red marled leggings and sports bra comes from a brand I have been trying out recently, Gymshark. Gymshark is a brand Pat and I found from Instagram a little while ago. They have specific athletes that are sponsored by Gymshark, therefore, they only wear Gymshark. I have seen a few of their women athletes on instagram and thought I would give their clothing a try!
Overall, I really like the quality of their pieces, the leggings have great stretch to them but the band is rather tight so it holds the pants up. This is key for me and any curvy girl out there. I have a smaller waist that I need the bands of leggings to really stay tight around, but I need room through out my butt/hips/thighs! I will say though, when you order you need to 100% size down in all of Gymshark leggings. I almost always wear a size medium, but these in the above are a size small. I wore an all purple look from them here on Instagram recently too, and those leggings are a size small as well. I also always size down in sport bras from every single brand. I like them fit snugged so when I am doing any movement-especially cardio- the girls stay put. If you’re laughing at this, seriously, for girls with some boobs- it can hurt if they are moving around too much with activity! Anyways, I have been switching up my gym looks and I have been trying to not always wear black bottoms! I think colorful gym looks are so cute and super fun! I’m literally beyond obsessed with Gymshark’s new release of the ombre seamless collection. This peach pink mixed with charcoal is GORGEOUS! I am on the wait list for the crop top and leggings combo….I will get an email when the items are back in stockk… So pretty!
I am so excited for the weekend! I hope y’all saw my instagram stories of me trying on different evening gowns! Pat and I were invited to attend the Ballantyne Ball this year. The event is tomorrow night and we are wearing masks with our dress and tux! We are bringing along our friends Brianna and Matt so it’s going to be such a fun evening benefiting a wonderful cause- the Heartbright Foundation. The Heartbright Foundation’s aim is to be able to bring access and education to the working poor sector in Charlotte. I had no idea that strokes, diabetes and heart disease is the cause of 1 out of 3 deaths in the United States. That’s just mind blowing to me and for those who are out there working to make a differecne- it’s crucial they have the ability to get treatment and education. I’m honored to have been invited and I can’t wait to share out evening with all of you on my instagram stories! Follow along!
Pat and I are going to enjoy our weekend and then first thing Sunday we are start a stricter diet plan….two months out from the wedding! Yay!
Have a good weekend! I hope the sun is shining wherever you are!
xx, Brittany Ann
