Building out a capsule wardrobe has been something that has been on my mind for years. And I am really excited to have compiled these wardrobe staples and styled them for you girls in my 10 Fall Wardrobe Staples for a Fall Capsule Wardrobe video below! I have been struggling for the past couple of years to share the latest and greatest items that are currently in stocked, available to be purchased, when I often have felt overwhelmed with the amount of clothing items I have to choose from, yet somehow always frustrated with finding something to wear. Fashion, for me, has always been about trying new things, creating looks that make me feel confident, looks that allow me to express however I am feeling, etc. I think you should always be opened to trying anything new!
These 10 core items can vary among all of us. A capsule wardrobe is based off of items that can easily coordinate with other pieces in your wardrobe to easily enable you to have an outfit. Lifestyle, occupation, all play into what your core items will be. I mentioned in the video that a Shacket is a capsule wardrobe staple for me as I have a more casual style, I layer my Free People shacket over most outfits, however, if you’re in the office everyday wearing business casual, a black blazer might make more sense for you! Truly depends on your lifestyle!
