Well hello Fall, & hello to you! It has been TOOOOOO long since I last posted. My life has been a whirlwind! Pat and I went to Vegas for a long weekend (can’t wait to share a Las Vegas round up with you soon), I moved apartments, then we went away again the next weekend to Lake Lure (where Dirty Dancing was filmed) and then unfortunately, I have been working long hours and I am sick on top of that! I think we can all agree that being sick is the worst! Anyway, aren’t you jumping with joy that Fall is officially here? It has certainly been cooler here in Charlotte. I am excited for throwing on an added piece; whether it is a plaid scarf like I am wearing, or a little vest, a floppy hat, whatever it may be, it is always exciting to add some layers! It always bring newness to the closet and each morning seems refreshing!
The little resort community we stayed in for our weekend in the mountains was BEAUTIFUL. I have never been in a log cabin before and let me tell you, it was breathtaking. Every single thing in our little cozy home was wood: floors, walls, ceilings, furniture, doors, EVERYTHING! The view from the porch wasn’t like anything I have ever seen. One of my favorite parts was sitting on the porch around the fire talking, playing catch phrase, and roasting marshmallows. It was the perfect way to end each night. I’ll be sharing more fall looks from my weekend soon!
